Favorite Music 'Favourite music' sounds like whimsical this and that, whereas a life of music is something else. From growing up singing in the choir of St Michael's church, Aberystwyth, then in the Chelmsford Cathedral concert choir, the London University concert choir; also in a performance in London of Cornelius Cardew's Great Learning, inviting the London Arts Lab musicians to play in St Michael's Highgate, c.1968, and so on, through Beatles and Stones parties in Moseley, B'ham, Pink Floyd live at B'ham University, and a life of CDs of Bach, Beethoven, 'early music', and so on, concerts in B'ham Town Hall, then Symphony Hall, and recently new music at the CBSO Centre. How otherwise could poetry be made?
