Roots Newark Mission Trip 2011

About me

Introduction	On Saturday, July 23, the Roots high school youth group will be embarking on a journey back to Newark, New Jersey for our mission trip! We will be working with the non-profit Safe Haven Urban Redemption, based out of Trinity Reformed Church in Newark. SHUR runs a summer camp during the week and we will be assisting the staff with that program as well as doing other various work projects around the neighborhood. We ask for your prayers that God will work mightily in the lives of those we come into contact with, but also within our own lives - that we will shine Christ's light.
