| Introduction | I am Head of Editorial at the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and a freelance publishing consultant. I was a Council member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE, '20-'25) and I am now a COPE advisor. I was Treasurer of the European Association of Science Editors (EASE, '21-'25). I was previously an open access journals professional. I was an editor with BioMed Central ('03-'09) and the Public Library of Science ('10-'16), and I was Head of Research Integrity at Hindawi ('16-'20) then Head of Editorial Policy and Ethics ('20-'22). I was a Research Integrity Manager at the UK Research Integrity Office (UKRIO, '22-'24). |
