I am a purveyor of the arts and literature. I am an individual with a disability. I am a strong woman, with a goofy sense of humor. I am unique. I love singing, and am in PLU's Choral Union.(http://www.pluchoralunion.org/). I love movies and reading. I also enjoy playing board games, card games, and video games with my husband and friends. Speaking of which... the Wii is calling me.

I also love to travel... if I could only do it more often! I also love to watch movies! I am involved in Choral Union- Still Singing! woo hoo! I also am in the Governor's Committee on Disability Issues and Employment.

Favorite booksLove books! I am reading all the time. I am in a book club with some PLU girls that I still am close with... and we get together every 6 weeks... so a book plus about 2 books a week on top of that. I am a reading fool!!! Favorite books- Pillar of Iron, LOTR Trilogy, Harry Potter (all of them) but mostly books 4, 6 and 7. I enjoy Hemingway-The Sun Also Rises. Jane Austins works- but I think my favorites are Pride and Prejudice and Love and Freindship. I read Stephenie Meyer's Twilight books (all 4) in less then 48 hrs. I enjoyed them, made me think of being a teenager again- not that I had vampires boyfriend vs. werewolf best fried back then. But the idea of falling in love with your best friend vs. falling in "love at first sight" tugs old heart strings. Ooh! The Historian was a great book too, incredibly written! The Help by Katherine Sprokett (I think) as well.

If you could peer far enough into the night sky, you'd see a star in any direction you looked. When would you sleep?

Honestly, I could sleep any time. I love to watch the satellites and marvel at how mankind got up there. Ponder what the astronauts are doing. However, I do love watching the shooting stars in late August. Makes me want to pull out my old Astronomy book to remember all that info.
