About me

Introduction Antoinette Dribbley, nee Sheila Woodcock, hails from Broadbottom in Lancashire. From an early age she was smitten by the dance, and enrolled at the Nanette Slack school of tap and ballet in Oldham. Her early successes led her to further study at Tring, where she caught the eye of Tamara Spekseva, but unfortunately her promising career was cut short by an ankle injury incurred whilst erecting shelves by standing on the back of her chaise longue. After a prolonged period of depression and typing, she eventually found work as a Special Needs teacher in Torquay, where she acquired a taste for the good life. After a few lucky wins at the bingo, and some wise investments, she found herself the proud owner of an old stone cottage in the rugged mountain village of Hevititsa, in the Messinian Mani. She now lives there with her two dogs and her personal trainer, Hans. Antoinette is very active locally. She has recently joined the Mani environmental group, tidying the beach at Poutsa, and attending their rowdy and chaotic meetings. Otherwise, she spends her time hangliding across Chamomyli Bay.
