| Introduction | Artist’s statement: Originally I tried to replicate an image. Now I would describe my style as nature abstracted. I'm interested in replication light play and mimicking how it reacts especially with foliage. I've been playing with scale and proportions. I use the shadows to create dimension in space. I use colour combinations to evoke feelings of calm. I love the simple design the a tangle of branches can create and exaggerate these shapes just to see if nature is still recognizable.
