Introduction	My daughter Mia, my husband Abhimanyu and I own this blog. I must include our much adored pet dog Neo in the list! Food is very important for us. Our dining table is often laden with seemingly mismatched items simply because I may have cooked to each one's palate that day. Some days its green and coordinated with yellow and 'boring' according to Abhimanyu. On others there is just the one Mangshor Jhol and Rice with gandharaj lebu! The table sees handmade and huge birthday cakes, expeimental pancakes made by Mia, jhol, kosha, chorchori and bhaja, Kerala fish curry and Punjabi influences, floppy pies and Italian treats. The one constant treat at our table though is laughter and liveliness! Our food extends very often to the bed in front of the T.V. too! Especially if Masterchef or Criminal Minds is on! This blog has been on my mind for a while now. We want to share our simple yet well loved fare with you all. We will also post recipes from friends. And most definitely Bengali classics from our mothers.
