| Introduction | Hannah Thein has been teaching students from other cultures for 12 years, after teaching 10 years as an elementary classroom teacher, administrator, and consultant. Teaching CLD students combines her love of languages, culture and travel, and enables her to help people feel welcome in new situations. She has lived and taught in Quito, Ecuador and Vienna, Austria, which has enabled her to work on her Spanish and German language skills. She has traveled widely in Canada, Mexico, and Europe. BRITT NIELSEN Britt has lived in several countries. She speaks French, German and Thai. Britt enjoys working with students and families of diverse cultures and languages. Her love for languages began at age 4 when she started learning the French Canadian she heard. Over the years she learned to speak fluent French, German and Thai. She has taught English to speakers of other languages from kindergarten to adult. She trained teachers for two years in Thailand as well. Britt loves working with, exchanging cultures and languages with families of diverse cultures. |
