Introduction	When I see a ferris wheel, I see more than an amusement park ride. To me, a ferris wheel conjures up thoughts of romance, exhilaration, and nostalgia. I hear music and laughter as riders climb into the seat. I hear giddy squeals of nervous fright as the seat slowly rises, then stops, rises then stops, until it finally reaches the top allowing riders a completely different view of their surroundings. A greater view that would've been missed had the wheel kept turning and never stopped. Riders suspend freely, rotating on a fixed stand, remaining upright as the wheel slowly revolves. Wonderful sensations are experienced while riding ferris wheels, and I think it to be a beautiful metaphor of life. A life filled with romance, exhilaration, nostalgia, music, laughter, and silence as I view my surroundings from a greater perspective. As I live freely, rotating on a fixed stand set firmly on a solid foundation, I pray to have a ferris wheel life.
