Introduction Dr. Nibir K. Ghosh, D.Litt., is UGC Emeritus Professor in the Department of English Studies & Research, Agra College, Agra (India). He was Senior Fulbright Fellow 2003-04 at the University of Washington, Seattle, U.S.A. He is author of widely acclaimed books: Beyond Boundaries (2007), Multicultural America: Conversations with Contemporary Authors (2005) and Calculus of Power (1997). His most recent works include Mirrors and Lamps (2014), Gandhi and His Soulforce Mission (2013), Charles Johnson (2011), Shaping Minds (2010), W.H. Auden: Therapeutic Fountain (2010), Erasing Barricades (2010) and Perspectives on Legends of American Theatre (2009). He has been the Executive Member of the Board of Directors for ASRC, Hyderabad. An Associate of Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla, he is the Chief Editor of Re-Markings, an international biannual journal of research in English(www.re-markings.com). He is on the Review Panel of MELUS and African American Review. He has to his credit over 170 articles, essays & research papers. His essay “The Spiritual Nationalism of Sri Aurobindo” is prescribed in the Foundation Course of Universities and colleges in Madhya Pradesh.
