| Introduction | I am the Executive Director of the Death with Dignity National Center--the little organization that could. We took on George Bush and John Ashcroft at the US Supreme Court, and we won. We changed end-of-life care in Oregon 10 years ago, and did the same thing in Washington in 2008. I teach at Portland State University in the Social Work department, and I am a PhD student in Social Work & Social Research. I have one daughter and two cats. |
