Favorite music	Damn near anything is better than rap-if that crap can even be considered music. Mostly I enjoy the oldies from the fifties and sixties, especially CCR.
Favorite books	Just about ever thing that Michener ever wrote. Reading Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" made me think about my political and moral philosophy and no doubt made me the cynical commenter I am today.
