| Introduction | GAYLON BARROW--- AN author of 90 novels is a retired Veteran of the U.S. Army with over 30-years of service. His career has spanned three decades as a Platoon Sergeant, Field First Sergeant and as a First Sergeant of an Infantry Company. He is a graduate of the, “Army Institute for Professional Development”, located at Fort Eustis, Virginia where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Literature. He is a veteran of the Cold War, Era of Vietnam and Desert Storm. Mister Barrow is married with three children who have given him nine granddaughters and three grandsons. His youngest a daughter and his Princess, is a medical technician. A military family, his oldest son is also a retiree from the U.S. Army Infantry, a veteran of Desert Storm, while his youngest son an Infantry Officer is still active. As a Colonel he is a Light Infantry Brigade Quick Strike Commander, with the 4th Army. Colonel Barrow has served in Bosnia, Singapore, Iraq and Afghanistan with four tours in Iraq. In Bosnia he was the aide to the NATO Commander. In Iraq 2nd tour & 4th tour he was awarded the ‘Bronze Star with Valor'. Both sons graduated from, ‘Sam Houston State University’. |
