| Introduction | Craig A. Hill earned his Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1984, with dissertation research examining personality traits related to affiliation motivation. Following a postdoctoral position at the University of Utah in social-personality and organizational psychology, he taught at several universities before becoming a research scientist at The Kinsey Institute for Sex, Gender, and Reproduction at Indiana University in 1987. In 1991, he joined the Psychology Department at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW), where he began his own research program on personality and sexual motivation. He is currently an associate professor of psychology. He has published a number of articles in such scientific journals as the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, the Journal of Research in Personality, and The Journal of Sex Research. |
