Introduction	Hmmm...let's see, I'm an engineer turned educator who loves what she does. I am walking in my true calling and purpose. I know that God has placed me in a unique postion to influence the lives and futures of others. Though I am a natural born and raised Georgia peach, I have spent a good part of my adult life in Tennessee. I am a proud graduate of Vanderbilt University with a dual degree in Engineering Science and Mathematics. I obtained my M.S. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in Biomedical Engineering. I love the Lord and am experiencing His new mercies everyday. Why the name First Lady? Well, one of my dear friends in NC gave me that nickname upon first meeting me at our church there. He said that I always carried myself like the wife of a preacher. Ironically, my father is a pastor and I truly admire my mother. So...that's that!
