| Introduction | So many wonderful misunderstandings come from language differences. Manuel recently learned the word "wonder", in the sense "I wonder (if, why, etc.)…" The word doesn't exist in Spanish, so it translates to "I ask myself" or "I question myself". When I told him about the inauguration of this blog, he was initially confused. "Janice in the land of questions?" he asked me tentatively. Well no, that wasn't really my intention, but it fits. This blog is a documentation of life as an experience full of wonders, both in the sense of wonderful things, and in the sense of "I wonder"s. |
