| Introduction | Hi, I’m a husband, Dad, and very ordinary, unimpressive bloke. In God’s extraordinary kind plans I’ve ended up in a place where I get to work with a team of extraordinary people who are doing some great things. Our deep desire is to work together on some little things that have a big effect in a broken world. We want to point people to the one who turned our lives around, and gave us hope and a future when we had none. For this reason we are prepared to travel to different countries and do little jobs as part of a big plan. Our hope is that others will see that there is a bigger, better purpose for people than living for themselves, as they come to know the one who has introduced us to each other. The one who made us, also knows the worst about us but loves us anyway. Therefore we don’t love people because they are worth it financially, give us anything in return or so that we are credited as “good” or “nice people” (we’re really not!). We do it because we’ve been unconditionally loved first and that shapes everything we do. (1 John 4:19) |
