| Introduction | I am an infinitly hot and dense dot. A former jade smuggler, now a mild mannered administrative assistant at a nonprofit. When you first meet me I'm a little on the quiet side. And then, right when you've decided that I'm not just socially inept, but am actually the cataleptic victim of a bad batch of designer drugs, I'll open up and start rambling disjointed nonsense about beer fueled feuds with my Talibani neighbors in a beijing flophouse, or "perfectly innocent misunderstandings" that have gotten me attacked by mobs of transsexual prostitutes in the streets of Northern Thailand, or seized at border crossings of countries that you never knew were connected. You'll wonder how full of shit I am, which is the same question that haunts me every morning as I stare into my first cup of coffee trying to piece the disjointed memories that fill my head into coherant sense of personal history and figure out who I'm supposed to be for the coming day. |
