Introduction	Since moving from Brasil four years ago I discovered that people in LA don’t cook everyday. For me, there is nothing like home cooked meal. Since I left behind my favorite cooks I had to adventure myself in the kitchen. And so I entered the fascinating and addicting world of cookbooks, collecting recipes from wherever I could find them, including my Mom’s. The idea for this blog came after many of my friends asked for the recipes of meals I’d served. It would be a lot simpler to post recipes on a blog where everyone could easily access them. To make sure all the recipes posted are absolutely tested, tasted, perfected and delicious, I decided to post only the recipes that at least 3 friends asked for. The only exception would be meals I served my kids and they rated as a “repeat.” Some recipes are exactly as they appear in the book but some I have changed and hopefully improved. If someone asks you for any of these recipes, just send them this link. This way we can keep spreading the good stuff together!
