Introduction I'm relatively new to horse racing and only started betting seriously (I say 'seriously' in terms of not betting on jockey silks and horse names any more)in the summer of 2010. I've been to a few tracks including Chepstow,Cheltenham, Haydock and Sandown. My local track growing up was Haydock which I've frequented quite a few times and lost money all of those visits. Now I suppose it's the glorious Folkestone after selling out on the North and moving down South to the 'garden of England' I've always had a bet on the big horse events from a young age (blame the parents) and always remember the free supplement in the Daily Mail (blame the parents) and Peter Scudamore rating each of the horses chances in the big races. I always used to do quite well in the National and my Mum told me that I'm lucky at picking the horses because it's in the genes as my Grandma(God Bless her)was always good at picking horses everyday when she read the paper. Little did my Mum that I used to get my Dad to put 50p on about half of the field, so even though I was always down, I was always a winner in my Mother's eyes. I really enjoy the reasoning and rationale behind how people pick their horses
Interests Finding a system to win consistently at horses/golf/football. Trying to improve my knowledge of horse racing. Following Manchester United. Trying to keep my golf handicap down when not doing any of the above. Trying to hopefully contribute something of use to the fine readers of this blog.
