| Introduction | Hi, I’m Kathi Small, wife of 25 years, mother of a grown son, and fulfilling a dream God gave me over 30 years ago. While still in college, I began writing short devotional stories. My plans to one day publish ended when a file of 30+ handwritten stories was lost. (No computers back then!) I let my go dream…until now. Long ago, Ecclesiastes 8:9 caught my eye. “All this I have seen, and applied my heart to every work that is done under the sun.” This coupled with Romans 1:20, “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead.” These two Bible verses have stuck in my heart all the years. When I look at everyday life, I see truths about God’s nature, man’s nature and lessons to be learned. Answering a friend’s question, “What inspires you to be creative?” I can say, “just about anything. I see God in a line from a song…my dogs…a cup of coffee…anything! God catches me by surprise with lessons about himself, myself and everything around me. So join me as I learn some of “His invisible attributes” by “applying my heart to every work that is done under the sun.” |
