Introduction	My precocious beginnings are rooted in my hometown, Washington, D.C. As a child I’d spend hours listening to my mom’s soul, funk, gospel and disco records, as well as digging in my relatives, friends and neighbor’s albums/45 collections. My love for music replaced dolls and other toys. Nowadays, I create mixes of my favorite artists to transport me to a mental state of calmness, joy and self-expression. I love going through my expansive music collections, coming up with ideas of what type of mix to cultivate each week. This experience lead me to create this site to share my love for music with anyone who seeks the alternative from the 50 times a day video/radio playlist.
