| Introduction | I was born and raised in North Central Nebraska. I have been involved in racing since I was a kid and my passion only grows as I age. I attended Southeast Community College in Milford NE and acquired an Associates of Applied Science degree in Automotive Technology. I worked in a dealership for about a year and then moved to Siloam Springs, AR. Arkansas is where I met and married my wonderful wife Susan. I have worked for Dayspring Cards for almost 13 years and worked my way from a machine operator to Machine Maintenance Supervisor and Material Handling Supervisor. In July of 2006 I had the extreme privilege of attending Joe Mondello's Technical Institute in Tennessee. My brother and I studied Joe's "Racing Engine Blueprinting" course. In 2007 I became a world 1/4 mile speed record holder at 109.16 mph in the HA/GR vintage dragster class with a flathead Mercury powered car that my friend Randy Compton and I built and raced. It is my goal to someday earn a living racing and restoring race cars for museums and collectors. |
