Introduction	I've always been fanatical about bikes. In my younger years it was all about the bmx, the perfect do it all bike of the time. At 14 I received a second-hand rigid steely which weighed a ton. A trip to our local bike shop and a poster for local races had my old man entering me and seeing how I faired. I was hooked from that point and I have a lot to thank him for. A year of using the beast and it was time for a new bike – the Marin Rocky Ridge with Manitou Two’s. Results started to appear at the local races, good times. Later years would take me to uni with friends leading me astray to the world of dirt jumps and downhill tracks. Fun times with some great friends until some medical issues and xc made a come back. The rest, as they say, is history…
