| Introduction | Mikala Lindhardt is from Manti, Utah. She is a communication studies major at Utah State University in Logan and has created this blog to share her articles and stories she writes for class and the public. Mikala enjoys doing many different things such as hiking, biking and snowboarding and learning new things. Traveling is a passion of hers. She loves to learn about new cultures and people's lives. She has recently traveled to Mexico for humanitarian work, Taiwan to teach English, Tennessee to serve an LDS mission, and Guatemala to study and report on the land and culture with botany students from Snow College. Mikala is the oldest of four children and enjoys playing sports. In high school she was a member of the varsity volleyball and basketball teams and was awarded the MVP title for her volleyball region. She graduated with an Associates of Arts degree and pharmacy technician license from Snow College in Ephraim, Utah in May of 2015 and is excited to be in the valley studying at USU for the next two years. Mikala plans to use her Spanish minor to work in South American countries and do humanitarian work. |
