| Introduction | I am a Library Media Education student through Western Kentucky University. I am an avid reader, and I am looking forward to using this blog as a reading journal. I am certified to teach English, Grades 8-12, and I just got a job teaching at Pike Central High School in Pikeville, KY. I am engaged, busy working on my Master's Degree, and I have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I love animals and books about animals. LME 518 is my 7th class in this program. I should graduate in May from the LME Program. |

| Favorite books | The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian is my favorite new book. I love both Young Adult and Children's Literature. This is part of my motivation to become a librarian in the school system. |
