| Interests | My visual work is derived from observations and experience in the natural world, and my sculptures are a reflection of this experience. They become a microcosmic representation of how I see the world as a connected and interrelated source of creativity. Ultimately, my goal as an artist is to reveal the subtleties of the natural world to provide insight on a physical and mental level leaning towards greater awareness of the environment. It is my hope that this will eventually lead to an understanding of how we are related to the natural ecosystem and how humans can interact with the environment in a positive way. |
