Introduction After a troublesome 1999 I decided to take up meditation as a way to 'sort my head out'. On just my second attempt, sitting still on the couch in my lounge, something happened. I fell away, leaving just utter present-ness. It didn't last long but it revealed that the 'normal' state is unnatural and heavy. This glimpse of what the Tibetans call 'one taste' fueled an intense interest into what I would later come to know as nonduality. The journey took me through vipassana and Zen to Dzogchen and beyond. Whatever the approach; progressive paths, methods of elaborate logical argument, or the way of direct pointing, the same radical recognition is available: All there is is unborn Tao; the field that gives rise to any and all possible conditions and content - including this story... these words... presently appearing... just so!
