Introduction	Roxie Jo was born on 2/1/08 at 6:57pm at just 27 weeks & 5 days along. She was only 14 inches long and weighed just 2 pounds and 6 ounces. A little background.... With a combination of high blood pressure, swelling, increasing levels of protein in my urine and rapid weight gain, I had all the signs of pre-eclampsia. So after being transferred to St. Vincent Women's Hospital, it was decided that she and I would both be better off after an emergency C-section. Her doctors said Roxie was a feisty little thing since the moment she was born and things have not changed since! --Deidre (& Aaron)
