| Introduction | Hey - Bill here. In 2005, on a bit of a whim I traveled to southeast Asia with some friends. What I experienced those next few weeks, and on my several visits since to Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, China, and Vietnam, has offered me a whole new perspective on life. What started as a tourist experience soon became a desire to get involved, and a friendship with a young Lao named Somnuek has created that opportunity. With Somnuek I've visited the smallest of villages and have pitched in to help, and friends and family have contributed to the cause. Many who I've shared my stories with have wanted to help, but weren't sure how - maybe this site can be a focal point for our efforts.
