| Introduction | I am 28 years old and am a mother and a wife. I work as a RN in a Newborn Intensive Care Unit in Boston. Joey and I got married on June 27th, 2003. We got pregnant in May 2006 and were expecting our daughter Juliana in February of 2007. On January 11th 2007 the unimaginable happened. After an ultrasound the doctors told us that Juliana's heart was no longer beating. We were devastated. I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on January 12th 2007. She was 4 pounds 12 ounces, 16 inches long and born at 36 weeks gestation. The doctors are not sure what caused her death they are thinking it was an umbilical cord accident or blood clot. I started this blog so that I could have a place to come and share my thoughts. |
