| Introduction | My name is Julie and I live and work in Hampshire, England with my husband and our two boys. I have worked with adults and children with learning difficulties since 1996, and at present I am working part time as a Portage Home Visitor. This involves me visiting children under 5 (who are delayed in two or more areas of development) in their homes. I work alongside families, breaking down tasks into small achievable goals concentrating on learning through play. I have a wide range of experience working with children with various needs and want to have a go at sharing that experience through my blog. I'd love to know what you think. |
