| Introduction | By way of introduction, I am Sister Roberta. I hand make all of our hair, bath & body and skin care products for The Original Fragrance Shop located at 5325 Aldine Mail Rd., Houston, Texas. Twenty years ago, I cut all of my hair off in an attempt to numb the pain of some situation that I don’t care to recall. To my amazement, my hair texture had changed! It was no longer soft curly tendrils but rough and spiky. Years of chemical processing had altered the natural texture of my hair. It was as though the chemicals had penetrated my scalp and my hair growth pattern. In my search for products to ”bring my hair back to life”, I began concocting my own mixtures. The first concoction was our hair nourishment. Customers began to compliment the change in my hair! I continued to develop products to address the needs of my hair and we now offer a complete line of hair care products that are made from natural ingredients. M healthy locs now flow beyond my knees! |
