| Introduction | Of all the visual arts, glass has always fascinated me. Prior to moving to Montana I lived much of my life in another beautiful state, Oregon, where I first got started fusing glass. It was there that I started taking classes at one of the countries premier art glass manufacturers, Bullseye Glass, in Portland. Fused glass is a process of cutting, layering, heating and forming glass in a kiln at extremely high temperatures. Many of the images on my pieces are created by sifting powdered glass onto sheet glass, with multiple firings. Others are made by transferring photos on to glass. |
