| Introduction | I consider myself a historian, genealogist, lecturer, author, and editor. There is nothing like following a research trail through all of the twists and turns. What kinds of records can be found to gain insight into the real people who came before us? Then how do we tell their stories? I have taught various topics in genealogy in adult education programs at Fitchburgh State, Greenfield Community College, and Holyoke Community College. I have also brought local history programming to our school children at Erving Elementary School and Great Falls Middle School. I have been a frequent lecturer at regional conferences, and for local libraries and genealogical societies. |
