Introduction	like many people, i am genuinely skilled at paying lip service to things that seem hard to me. give me an ethic or philosophy to stew on and i'm in heaven, but give me practical ideas and skills that i could use to change my life... well that will take me awhile. really, it will. i seem to get scared i guess. so, having noticed this pattern yet again, i am done!! yes i am no longer simply giving lip service to permaculture - i am taking action. step 1 is this blog. step 2 is mapping our land. step 3 will be planning around our 5 sloped acres of southwest facing land. planning: water, access, structure. and then of course step 4 is years of doing!!!
Interests	permaculture, sustainability, alternative housing materials, getting away from plastic, organics, social justice, international aid that is skills based not simply money gifting, alternative energy sources, building authentic community who support each other!!
Favorite movies	not all of these are movies: regreening the desert (youtube), tapped, the man who planted trees (youtube), anything about permaculture!!
