| Introduction | I spent most of my working life as a sub-editor on national tabloids. I then joined the Salisbury Journal as a reporter in 2008, taking a particular interest in local politics. From 2012 to May 2020 I wrote a weekly opinion column for the Journal. In May 2021 I was elected to Salisbury City Council as an Independent for West Harnham. Now I am one of the leaders of the administration along with the leaders of the LibDem and Labour groups. I am married with two sons, two lovely daughters-in-law, and a baby grandson. |
