Introduction | "Growing up on Blaauwkrantz Farm in the 70's and 80's I witnessed first hand the transformation of wildlife on private property. In my youth seeing a kudu or bushbuck would be the highlight of the month for me.In the last twenty years wildlife has increased astronomically on Blaauwkrantz because of the principles of incentivised conservation and sustainable utilisation.Wildlife that has value has a place on private land.Trophy hunting in particular allowed us to viably conserve our wildlife.I fervently try to convey this message and even animals such as the secretive bushpig has proved to be a specie that has value thus conserving itself and other species that it shares our property with." |
Interests | Bushpigs. The environment in general and how all us humans have to interact with this in a sustainable manner. |
