Introduction	I Martin Luther King Jr., am a man that helped give blacks and whites equal rights. It was called the "Civil Rights." What I did to help blacks have the same rights as whites, I went to many different cities in many different states giving motivational speeches. Alot of blacks and few whites took part in my marches that I had set up. I have four kids and a wife. Coretta Scott is my wife and my four kids are Yolanda, Marty, Dexter and Bernice. The main reason that I wanted to do this was because of my family. I didn't like seeing my family get treated like garbage because they were black. My role in the family was to keep my family safe, and stick up for them, because I know what was right! One of my last speeches that I had given I was shot and killed. My family was very sad, and upset. My wife then took part in the civil rights movement.
