| Introduction | Cosmopolitanism is the ideology that all human ethnic groups belong to a single community based on a shared morality. A cosmopolitan sees us as all the same in our individual uniqueness and sees that diversity makes us stronger as a whole. A provincial sees us as unique in our sameness and we are strongest when defending against anyone different from us. It is the natural primitive in us to be provincial or tribal, but we must strive by a voyage of discovery to be a cosmopolitan. |
