| Introduction | Married to Pamela with two sons, live in Roodepoort, own and run a datacabling company(last 20 years). I have been building models since primary school, earliest planes I can remember building were ,rubber power Keil Kraft Pixie, then Gypsy and later my first glider a free flight Chief. High school was all about control line stunt and combat, after national service I built my first radio glider a Drifter 2 and taught myself to fly was 1978 . I have flown .60 size pattern ships (Curare)but I love model gliders , I have flown an Ellipse for over 15 years and used to compete with it when it was current , but now social flying and building are my focus at present. |
