LATE DR.NAVNEET THAKKAR: Started his career as a mill-worker, joined education as tailoring teacher and then as hindi teacher.Retired as Principal of school, after hard work in hindi literature completed Ph.D in hindi literature in 1986; published 34 books in hindi/gujarati, received two national awards for hindi literature: Translated gujarati books/novels of renowned gujarati writers in hindi, and wrote poetry, gazals and short stories in gujarati as well as hindi..He was 71 when he passed away. Dr.NIRAV THAKKAR-just 45,the younger one,A Principal of a well-known Higher Sec.School,an Educationist(Ph.D.:Education/MBA), an instrumentation engineer and a software professional, has big taste for literature and music and can commendablly comment on articles /poetry.. |
