| Introduction | Hi, We are Dale and Lisa Peterson. We were both born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. We were married in Detroit at St. Olaf Lutheran Church on September 27, 1980. We have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Kristy and Kelly. We travelled with our girls during summer vacations in a 32 ft 1998 Itasca Sunrise motorhome from 1998 through 2003 covering the 48 contiguous United States and 5 of the Canadian provinces. We sold the Itasca when the girls headed off to college. It was during the travels in the Itasca that we fell in love with the lifestyle and made it a goal to do much more of it in retirement. After years of planning and preparation our Commerce Township, Michigan home for 26 years went up for sale in March of 2013 and sold in 3 days. Our new home, a 2014 Newmar Dutch Star 4018, was ordered in May 2013 and we took delivery in July 2013. We've been on the road full-time since then. And loving every minute of it! |
