| Introduction | 1998 Was a Huge year! I received my call to minister the word of God and, I was in awe at the plans that He revealed for my life. Let's be real- I lived a destructive lifestyle, and I struggled with self-hate and the strongholds of identity crisis and rejection. God calling me to reach His people was as far removed from my thoughts as you could imagine! Since then, I have had the opportunity to serve in ministry in various capacities. Youth Pastor, Prayer Team Leader, Worship Leader, and a participating team minister in the United Methodist Church. Who I "used to be" was all a part of the bigger plan- I use my life story as an open book to reach at-risk youth and at-risk communities declaring that "You Can and that You Are Better.” In the pulpit, the same principal stands, meet people where they are, using my candid life examples to bridge others from what seems desperate and desolate to a promise under God's will. |
