Introduction	I'm a jazz pianist/composer (at least that's what I do for not enough money) I also teach at a local college (also for not enough money) I've been doing this for a long time. I've also been writing for a long time, but lately have not had time to do so because I've been composing new music. I may write about the angst of my generation--or maybe not! I will try to restrain myself from posting photos of my cats.
Interests	writing, art, film, photography, plants, cartooning, left politics, good TV(e.g. The Mentalist, Elementary, Breaking Bad, Mad Men) music other than jazz, e.g. classical, Romantic, modern, various rock forms, blues, some pop, country, folk.
