Introduction	I've been listening to shortwave radio for about 3 years. About six months ago I purchased my first decent radio/antenna. I have a Winradio G31DDC Excalibur and a Wellbrook ALA1530 antenna. I currently live in an apartment that doesn't permit outside antennas, so it sits humbly on my bedroom nightstand. Despite this it performs fairly well.
