Introduction | I'm a book fiend and will read everything and anything. My literary pursuits are fairly eclectic (currently between and betwixt The Diary of Anais Nin and In Search of Lost Time by Marcel Proust), but I especially adore Restoration comedies, period pieces and non-fiction. I listen to all sorts of music, love martial arts (Kyokushin karate) and am nuts about the outdoors, museums and the theater. Originally from Mesoamerica, though not of Mesoamerican descent, I speak Spanish fluently. I live and work in El Lay where I'm teaching and pursuing an advanced graduate degree in Bilingual Education. I'm funny and witty and kooky, except when I'm not. I can be easy-going, though am usually fairly dramatic and high-strung. If you can get past the latter, then I hear that I make excellent company and a good friend. |

You're trapped in a well with a goat and a slinky. Describe how you will escape.
I'd tie one end of the slinky 'round the goat's neck and while holding on to the opposite end of the slinky I'd toss the goat out of the well and make him haul me out. (I know right now you're tempted to label me a "genius", but truth be told, I saw Bear Grylls do it on "Man vs. Wild".)
