Introduction	For many years, I was crippled by depression and anxiety. I had no idea that I was a priceless treasure to God, but instead saw myself as trashable. The Lord lifted me up out of that horrible pit and set my foot upon a rock. I encounter women (and men too, for that matter) every day who also do not seem to understand their value in Christ and this lack of understanding leads to depression, lonliness, bad choices and even addictions. My prayer is that this blog will be an uplifting reminder that, to God, we are beautiful pearls that He sold everything to purchase. Now, we can have eternal life just by accepting His gift but to truly gain peace and complete joy, He calls us to "sell out" for Him and His Kindgom. And that's where so many of us struggle. We don't understand GOD'S economy and we stress and strive to get the temporal offerings of the world that will never satisfy. The Pearl of Great Price can only be purchased by SELLING OUT TO HIM!! I hope you will be encouraged, challenged and changed.
