Introduction	I am using this blog to share my latest passion for the culinary arts with my family and friends. Born into a traveling family and holding dear to my southern New Orleans roots, I have acquired an extensive palette for good eats. Food differentiates one culture from another, embodying its traditions and customs. Conversely, food is universal. Food sustains us. It is true that some are more fortunate than others in this world, and so it is important to appreciate not only the food that you eat but also every gift that you have in your life. In addition to having fun with cooking, I try to reflect and thank God for each meal that I have before I eat. This is my first blog. I am learning how to improve my layout, pictures, and posts every day. Also, I am new to the Charleston area and am still transitioning from my move from Los Angeles. I am completely enchanted by this charming city and all that it has to offer. So I ask that you bear with me as I get to know my new “home” and explore the things I already enjoy doing and those that I am experiencing for the first time.
