| Introduction | Bolin is a drug discovery and development professional with over 25 years of experience in the pharma industry. He recently served as Vice President, Head of Chemistry at Myrobalan Therapeutics, a pharmaceutical company focused on developing novel therapeutics for the treatment of CNS diseases. Before joining Myrobalan, he was Vice President, Head of Research at LEAF4Life. Prior to LEAF4Life, Bolin held roles at several pharma companies, including AstraZeneca. Bolin has made significant contributions to drug discovery and development throughout his career. He is an inventor of over 10 drug candidates, of which 5 have entered clinical development, including XacDuro® (Sul-Dur), an antibacterial agent whose New Drug Application (NDA) was approved in 2023. He also contributed to the development of Onivyde®, an FDA-approved (2015) anticancer drug. Bolin has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles and is an inventor/co-inventor of over 200 granted patents and patent applications. Bolin received his PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Montpellier, France. |
